Great AMP!!!, February 20, 2010 By Steven M Carter Sr (Columbus, Ohio, US) - See all my reviews This review is from: SONY Mono 1-Channel Amplifier (XM3001SXD) (Electronics) This the last style amp Sony came out with that is worth a you know what. It is a true Class D amp. I even had it tested back in 02. I have to find the paper but at 14.4v at 1ohm it cranked out a little over 1200watts. 970 something of pure undistorted power. I have one of these in both my cars now. On 3 12's I hit 156.6db in a competition. I have ran this amp for 4 plus years without a prob. I have even dropped it to a 0.6 load for a month to see if it would handle it and it did without a hiccup. I would reccommend this for anybody who is on a budget and need some power!!
