This review is from: Usher 8945A 7" Carbon Fiber/Paper Woofer (Electronics) Usher provide some of the best value in hi end mid range/mid bass drivers available today. These woofers are very well built with lots of mass yet still one of the softest suspension assemblies i have seen in a while which contributes to it's amazing mid range that's on par with that of hi quality 5" while simultaneously reproducing the scale of a 7" and beyond. Easily comparable if not superior to the ScanSpeak Classic 18W/8545 but at $60 less, (that's the price of a decent tweeters). Never forget tho that a system is only as strong as it's weakest link, so don't expect any single piece to work magic in an otherwise crappy setup.
